Get your EKG reviewed by a
board-certified cardiologist

Get a second set of eyes on your heart data and have your “what-if’s” answered quickly. Because the heart care you need shouldn’t require days of waiting.

What is a Clinician Review?

The Clinician EKG Review feature in the Kardia app allows you to instantly send your EKG recording directly to a board-certified cardiologist* for analysis. You’ll get a report back in 24 hours* or less (average response time is just 1 hour) —that’s 26x times faster than the US average wait time for a cardiologist appointment.

The cardiologists performing your review are able to identify 20+ arrhythmias and secondary observations such as PVCs, PACs, Wide QRS, and AV block. They will personally review the EKG and confirm your original result or provide an additional determination, and in some instances provide direction on next steps.

*All cardiologists work for an AliveCor-affiliated independent, physician-owned medical group. AliveCor and Kardia do not provide medical services. Reviews will be performed by cardiologists licensed in the user’s state. U.S. only. Review completion is guaranteed in 24 hours or less, with an average of 1 hour (times may vary based on location).

How it Works

After you take an EKG, you can choose to immediately send it for review in the Kardia app, or select any EKG from your History tab.

The cardiologist will review your EKG within 24 hours. When your report is ready you'll receive an email notification and the report will be available in the Kardia app.

  • Request a review in the History tab or right after taking an EKG on the analysis page
  • Get a report back in less than 24 hours (average 1 hour)
  • No appointment required
  • Each review costs $39 (or save on reviews with KardiaCare, 4 included annually)
  • Review Kardia or Apple Watch EKGs
  • No subscription required

In addition to the rhythms listed, Clinicians are also looking for PVCs, Wide QRS, 1st Degree AV Block, 2nd Degree AV Block, 2nd Degree AV Block (both Mobitz I and Mobitz II), and 3rd Degree AV Block.

A top KardiaCare feature.

Clinician Reviews are $39 per review, but KardiaCare members receive four free credits annually with their membership. Each credit provides you with one Clinician Review. That means you can have four EKGs reviewed by a cardiologist every year, free of charge with KardiaCare.
